About DeepResponse

DeepResponse, currently in stealth, is a new AI cybersecurity startup, building an AI-enabled DFIR lab and consultancy.

Over the past few months, we’ve developed an AI-enabled tool that fully automates business email compromise investigations, deployed it on live cases, and reached six figures of revenue.

We are backed by a $4.35M investment by some of the world’s best early-stage investors, including Susa Ventures, Matt Clifford, Charlie Songhurst (Meta board member), and Geoff Ralston.

About the role

We are looking for a small number of advisors to help shape the practice and accelerate our growth.

Our ambition is to build the most technologically advanced DFIR lab in the world, with an extremely talent-dense team. DFIR is a time-critical, high-stakes practice. Yet, investigations are slow and labour-intensive, demanding scarce expertise and analytical rigour. We aim to pair outstanding human talent and frontier AI to cut investigation times by orders of magnitude.

As an Advisor to DeepResponse, you will work closely with the founders to shape our go-to-market strategy and establish gold-standard operating procedures for our lab. Your work will be instrumental in guiding our market positioning and service offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in strategy sessions, offering advice on market positioning, differentiation, and go-to-market motions.

  • Work with the founders to secure casework and identify new service opportunities.

  • Provide targeted introductions to potential customers, partners, trusted industry contacts, and support early-stage relationship development by joining select calls.

  • Advise on the operational standards for the DFIR lab, ensuring they align with industry best practices.

You may be a fit if you:

  • Built, scaled and led DFIR practices – owning go-to-market and service delivery.

  • Have a strong network of potential clients and industry connections.
